The Junior League of Long Beach

13 Sep

I recently joined the Junior League of Long Beach. It’s both an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to serve my community. Click the links to learn more.

We had a meeting last night and of course I had to do my nails. Come on, you wouldn’t expect any less. I’m looking forward to learning, serving and growing. I’m encouraging everyone to seek opportunities to improve your own communities. GET INVOLVED. STAY INVOLVED. Together, we can make a difference.

Polish on!

Day 31 is Here! Finally…my Tiffany Skinny Cow

1 Feb

Day 31… Finally. This was an awesome challenge. I learned new techniques, challenged myself and interacted with a wonderful group of fellow challengers. Hugs ladies! I’m looking forward to freestyling for a while.

The final challenge was to re-create a fellow challengers post. There were great options to choose from. I decided on Morie’s “Dalmatian Manicure“. Such a cute dog and cow combo. I have to buy the dog stamp she used. So cute. So, my remake is sort of like a skinny “Tiffany” cow…..I realize the little cow face doesn’t quite match the big spots.

“Audrey” by China Glazem Konad stamping polish in “Black”. I stamped with Bundlemonster plate BM 222 and Konad stamp S3.

Day 30…Nails inspired by a Tutorial. YouTube has become an awesome source of information. If you want to learn to do something, chances are there’s a video for it on YouTube. It was a cinch to find something fun for this challenge. I’ve always been pretty conservative with my nails until recently. But hey, what the fruit 🙂 ….gotta live a little.

I found this fun little watermelon nail tutorial here. It was quick, easy and I’ll be sure to try it again during the summer months.
