Who has YOUR Vote?

28 Sep

Sometimes, we come across those “little” things in life that we are extremely fond of. These little nail stickers make the list of things I’m fond of. I created a remix of my original manicure and now, I’d like to know, which manicure has your vote!

Will you pick China Glaze-Platinum Silver, Zoya-Carly or Wet N Wild-Lethal Injection?

Which one do you like most?

With this Bling…

26 Sep

With this Bling…I thee wed! Check out these fun little “BLING” stickers by Nail Bliss that I picked up from Sally’s. You can glam up the entire hand or add an accent finger or two. I chose to cute a few pieces of the stickers to keep this from being too busy. The base color is “Platinum Silver” by China Glaze.

I’ll describe this as a gradient half-fish egg caviar looking manicure! FUN. FUN. FUN. Would your rock it or knock it?

Black Matte Nails

Black Matte Nails….I’m in the mood for fall today and these nails make me want to throw on a sweater and some boots!
Are you ready?

Santee “Black” polish with Essie’s “Matte About You” top coat.

Cuticle Remover

19 Sep

I can’t remember who to thank for this wonderful recommendation. This Sally Hansen instant cuticle remover is the TRUTH and it does what it says it will do. I picked it up from Target this past weekend.

Like most products, you yield the best results when you follow the directions. I recommend that you follow these simple directions for this product I’ll be adding this to my arsenal of nail goodies.

Have any of you tried this?

Gradient Nails

18 Sep

Gradient nails are a fun way to add glam to your nails. You simply use a cosmetic sponge to sponge a few colors onto your nails!

It’s one of my favorite nail trends. What’s one of yours?

Take Inventory!

13 Sep

Every once in a while, we have to “take inventory” of what’s in our lives. This week, with Major help from my Whitney, I took inventory of my treasured nail polish stash.

Now to re-evaluate my storage strategy! I may need my tool belt for this next round. STAY TUNED!

Hello Holo!

12 Sep

Holo, Holo and mo’ Holo! I love holographic nail polish. Initially I missed the “buffing step” and wasn’t sure how I felt about the application.

Now, I know what I’m doing! So, hello holo. It’s nice to really meet you.

I used Orly Decoded for the base. The holographic nail polish is Mermaid Spell by Layla Cosmetics. It’s available at Ulta.

Stormy Weather: No Money Down the Drain!

11 Sep

It’s become a routine for me to pop into my local Dollar Tree and see what’s new in their cosmetic and beauty section. When I picked my “Stormy Weather” by Colormates it was love at first sight. It’s a great color, awesome application and fabulous price.

When you find $1 nail polish that you love, you can truly celebrate that you haven’t wasted a penny. No money down the drain on this purchase. $1 well spent.
